| The separate bungalows were built in native
style and set in opulent gardens. Among them were discreetly placed small stone temples
with the traditional pagoda shape and balck thach roof. Statues of gods and goodsses
appeared in niches. The room, with its split bamboo
walls, mats, rafts, poles tied together with bark fiber, gave off vibrations.
