Guest activities
• The fisherman usually return around 7.30 am in the morning, which is lovely to watch from the beach. It is a family affair so the women and children gather to collect the fish.
• From the beach in front of “Life in Amed” it is easy to snorkel and see many colourful fish and large coral formations. You can see Angelfish, Bannerfish, Giant Wrasse and Orange-lined Triggerfish. There are many places to snorkel in Amed, take a trip on a 'jukung' boat to the Japanese Shipwreck, the SS Liberty an American Warship
sunk by the Japanese in 1942, a fishing trip or to watch the sunset.
• If you enjoy walking in the morning or late afternoon, take a left from the hotel and you'll see village life and beautiful views of the cliffs. Hikers can go up and over the mountain with a local guide.
